Let's get to know about me!
I am currently a freelance designer with many job titles and have done work for graphic design both print as well as digital. I have worked on user interface designs for all ages as a front end developer and developed websites with effective designs around the limitations of the web. In addition to development, I have an understanding of user experience design that provides meaningful, relevant experiences to users of both new and existing products.
Growing up, design was not my first choice in career. Design was an interest that had actually grown over the years leading to this current day. Working in this career path is something I find great interest in as I look to see how I can see the world in a better creative perspective.
Upon receipt of many projects, I often find that clients sometimes do not have a full understanding of their needs. For example, a client might say that they need a new design but in actuality, their best approach would be to take what they have now and elaborate on its strengths instead. In such scenarios, consultation would be considered my strength in that I help clients find solutions in both freelance work and past jobs.
I personally enjoy working on new projects that starts with preliminary research of the strengths and weaknesses of similar products. This research will often allow me to create something that is more centered towards the user since I have a better understanding of their requirements and needs. Also through the process I can make adjust to those requirements if needed.
Aside from working on projects, I am always trying to grow and learn something new. This can be new programming libraries, new design trends or even new personal hobbies. Currently I am looking for new opportunities and am open to new projects.
